The Gavin Room

Here is a video of his room! As you can see we have all of our furniture: a crib from Aunts Judy, Maryanne and Marge; A matching changing table; a dresser that used to be black and brown until Landon surprised me and painted it to match the room; A play pen from Grampa Joe and DD; and a bassinet from Nana and Pap-pap. We also have two pictures drawn by Aunt Kayla. And of course we can't forget the Terrible Toddler Towel from Uncle Joey! Landon and I bought 8in stencils of the alphabet and painted the letters around them room, then Landon (being the wonderful man that he is) HAND DREW each picture for each letter! I put some closeups below. I had bought wood letters and spelled out Gavin Thomas Mitchell and with my swiss cheese prego brain I took off the things that were attached on the back to help them hang on the wall. So, once again, my fantastic husband came to my rescue and he had the idea to drill dowel rods into the bottom and then glue them into shelves. He also stained them cherry wood to match the other furniture in the room. He also found a fan at a yard sale that matched the colors of the room! This room is absolutely perfect!!!!!
